Fabbrica Italiana Pompe S.r.l. (FIP) started to manufacture centrifugal pumps in 1928 and is legally registered at the Italian Milan Chamber of Commerce with n° 146642. FIP is a highly qualified company where the manufacture and the working method, already established by a long experience in this business, are constantly improved due to a gradual upgrading of technological equipment with special attention to research and periodical tests, performed at the factory and on site.

FIP testing facilities and test rigs are currently available also to third parties
At FIP centrifugal pump production focuses primarily on industrial and large civil plants. In particular, the company specializes in the production and trade of hydraulic pumps. The products have found standard and bespoke application across high tech businesses in various sectors such as mechanical, chemical and petrochemical, steel and mining, energy, pharmaceutical, food, paper, air conditioning and heating systems, pollution control, industrial cleaning and related services, water supplies and general services.
The entire production process takes place in strict compliance with DIN 24256 – ISO 2858 (ISO 5199 in progress). FIP aims to diversify in the range of products. The production goes from monostage to multistage and from horizontal (also in close-coupled arrangement) to vertical through the use of different materials, like cast iron or ductile cast irons, carbon steels, stainless steels, duplex, alloy and superalloys.
FIP business synergies are set according to essential quality principles: scrupulous observance of the UNI-ISO regulations (ANSI on request) and internal procedures, manufacturing compliant with the Machinery Directive n.2006/42/CE and ISO 9001-2008 certification, with the aim to increase more and more the quality for pumps and services in order to offer a product matching customers’ needs and expectations.
